Pasta is always the food that makes every cook’s life a lot easier and a lot funnier I could say. Especially the life of mothers all over the world. It is easy, it is quick and every child and not only, loves it. Pasta is a kind of food with such a wide variety that it is possible for a person to eat a different kind every day and don’t be bored or fed up with. It can be cooked in so many different ways and with so many different ingredients that a pasta dish could be a light and nutritious meal or a very fattening one. Either way is a delicious and satisfying dish.
Penne tricolore in creamy sauce is a delicious and satisfying dish for sure but it is not a light one. If you are on diet skip this recipe. If you can do that! Not so easy when seeing these photos! Is it? Well, enjoying a really tasty food from time to time is not a crime after all and this creamy sauce is really tasty. Melted cheese in smooth heavy cream with a hint of sweet garlic flavor. The salted, sharp and nutty taste of parmesan and the tangy taste of cream cheese makes a rich flavored sauce as parsley and tomato gives freshness to the whole dish. It is not a “heavy” food, even if it seems like one. The pasta doesn’t “swim” in the sauce as you can see in the photos. Every bite is tasteful but not overloaded. This is the way I like it. If you like your pasta more juicy, just add less pasta to the sauce or make more sauce. It is a choice according to anyone’s personal preferences but I think that balance is the key for every successful dish.
It is an easy, everyday food for all of you with a healthy appetite but with a little free time for cooking!
Hope you like it!
