Cinnamon Sugar Palmiers
Ingredients
- 1 puff pastry sheet (defrost if frozen)
- 30 gr butter, melted
- 70 gr sugar
- 1 heaping teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat the oven at 200°C.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl mix together sugar and cinnamon.
Unfold the puff pastry sheet on a working surface.
Brush the puff pastry with the melted butter.
Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture all over the surface and using a rolling pin press the sugar gently into the dough.
Roll each of the long sides of the dough towards the center until both meets in the middle.
Cut the log in pieces about 1 cm each.
Place each cookie carefully in the baking sheet and press gently with your fingers to flatten them a bit.
Bake for 20 minutes.
